About

behind the scenes at libby ann quilts, elizabeth with sewing machines and fabrics

Thank you, Mrs. Martingello

I absolutely love fabric and sewing. I made my first quilt in elementary school as a final project for our Laura Ingalls Wilder unit in 4th grade. I fondly remember my mother taking me to the quilt shop to pick my fabric, learning to sew on her Singer sewing machine, and proudly taking my 9 patch into school to show my teacher. At the time, I had no idea how much of an impact Mrs. Martingello and 4th grade was having on me. But clearly, they did.

Growing up Minky

I became passionate about creating soft hug-me blankets because that’s what my own three children have had—the perfect snuggly friends that make tender moments memorable. Since their little infant fingers grasped for their minky and satin, I have fallen in love with making these special blankets. I'm thankful every day for the opportunity I have to turn my handmade dream into a reality.

Only the best will do

High quality fabrics and materials are my top priority when creating quilts and blankets for you. While they all might look the same at first glance, you can tell the difference once you feel, touch, and especially wash premium fabrics and threads. My hope is that your young child will love his/her new and blankie enough that they will need washing as often as my children's do. Because of this I only buy from the top of the line designers.

On behalf of my family and I, we are honored you are here. If you have any questions or are interested in a custom-made blanket please feel free to reach out to me.
